This bug also effects Toshiba A215 series laptops. Jens Janssen's work around of running at 1.6ghz or higher CPU clock also can be confirmed. So it would seem to be an issue with memory timing at the lower clock frequency since the x1250 uses system ram instead of dedicated.
I am willing to test since I will stay on Intrepid and leave Jaunty on it's partition but not actively used for now.
