Binary package hint: nautilus
similar but actually the reverse problem mentioned in #215231
To reproduce:
1) Initiate a copy of multiple files that will take several seconds or more
2) Move the source files to a new location while the copy is in progress
Result: Nautilus will finish copying the file it is working on at the time of
the move but then silently fail the rest.
The copy progress dialog will simply disappear giving the illusion that the
full selection has been copied.
It seems nautilus should at least warn the user that the copy operation
has failed else data loss could occur. For future features, nautilus
should be able to predict operations on source files that affect current
requests and either prevent the user from performing them or queue them
for later execution.
