Hi Steve, I run the command as you suggested, hope it helps. I tried reverting the video driver to the intrepid version, as suggested in the link below, but I got still got the same error while trying to enable the desktop effects. If you need any more feedback from me, please let me know. Also, if you could point me in the right direction of finding a workaround for this it would be great, as everything else works fine.
