Public bug reported:
I hit the top-right "switch user or shut down" button and then selected
"hyberhate".
The screen becomes almost black, and nothing else happens. The computer does
not switch off, or even set to the low power consumption mode.
Moreover, there is no way to resume normal operation other than switching it
off manually.
