Still present in Ubuntu 9.04 (Evolution 2.26.1-0ubuntu1). In my case any new appointment I made on Evolution calendar are recorded as appointment in the same day starting from 12.00 AM and lasting for 24 hours. Even after editing the event in Google Calendar, Evolution still records it as a 24 hours event. This problem does not occur if the event is created in Google Calendar.
