** Changed in: compizconfig-backend-gconf (Ubuntu Jaunty)
       Status: Triaged => In Progress

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: compiz
+
+ TEST CASE:
+ 1. install jaunty with compiz
+ 2. open "system/preferences/prefered applicatons" and go to system
+ 3. set terminal emulator to something else than gnome-terminal
+ 4. open "system/preferences/keyboard shortcuts"
+ 5. scroll to terminal and set it to e.g. shift-f2
+ 6. press shift f2 and verify that gnome-terminal opens
+
+ 7. install compizconfig-backend-gconf from jaunty-proposed
+ 8. restart the session
+ 9. press shift-f2 and verify that this time the right terminal opens

  If a user uses System->Preferences->Keyboard Shortcuts to configure a
  hotkey for launching a terminal, it will unconditionally launch GNOME
  Terminal, regardless of the setting in System->Preferences->Preferred
  Applications.
