Public bug reported:

I am unable to use any of the VT-x virtualization functionality on my
Toshiba Qosmio without a complete system freeze. This includes
VirtualBox and KVM.

I had reported this here:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/virtualbox-ose/+bug/347487

But have since realized that the problem lies with toshiba_acpi. When
this module is blacklisted, I can load KVM and boot virtual guest
without problem. When loaded the same complete freeze occurs.

The dmesg and lspci are included in the aforementioned bug report.

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
