hi i also have the same issue with SMC2862W-G EU (0707:EE13). in interprid it worked out of the box, but lost connections very often and had to reboot to solve it. also tried ndiswrapper+smc2862w driver (winxp). same results.
now with a fresh and updated install of jaunty the issue remains, but just with ndiswrapper, cause it wont work out of the box. the device works properly under winslows. one interesting think i've noticed, is that when the connection is lost, the device will remain listed at lsusb. that's ok, but if i disconnect it from usb, it will remain in lsusb. isn't that strange? please let me know if i can help with any information. -- wireless stops working until reboot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/132042 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
