Public bug reported:
I installed package xubuntu-desktop on my Kubuntu.
If I right|middle|left-click on the desktop, nothing happens. No wallpaper or
icons are shown, only some garbage images from the last KDE session or images
of websites visited in Firefox.š When I navigate to the Desktop in Thunar.
The situation seemed to be solved when I uninstalled kubuntu-artwork-upsplash
package, however only blue background appeared then. According to
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=338359 I launched xfdesktop but the
background color only turned back to garbage.
Also, pressing Alt+F2 the dialog just pops out and then immediately disappears
to nowhere. I am successful only at the second try.
