I'm sure Sebastien did not mean to be rude or offensive. He has a great
deal of knowledge about the operations of Nautilus.

And, he is right, something has started Nautilus, unbeknowns to you.

If you are still having the problem please perform the following steps

You can see if Nautilus is running with this commanddo
   ps -eaf |grep nautilus
should print out a long command string if it is running

In any case we need to help you find out what may have installed Nautilus.
To do that would you please attach any log files in /var/log
with a name like
dpkg.logdo
dpkg.log.1
dpkg.log.2.gz
and so on.
Actually any files in that directory contining the pattern 'dpkg.log'
(there could be several of them or only 1-2)

Take all those files, tar them up and attach them to this bug and lets
see if we can figure out why nautilus is running under KDE, apparently
w/o your prior knowledge.

If for any reason you do not know how to tar up a group of files
just post to the bug asking how and I will show you how.

Thanks in advance
