I can confirm
click on a .deb file -> pop-up window ask for root password -> give the
password -> then nothing ..except a box in applications toolbar that
tell me something about Starting Adminis...... . CPU work for few
seconds, box gone, nothing happen.
Strange command line dpkg -i ..always work.
--> maybe this will help :
