Michael,
You are right. After the initial message appeared others and I could
identify that the problem was a conflict between samba-common and
samba4-common. I tried to remove this packages and go on, but some other
error occurred (I don't remember exactly what was). To solve the problem
I reinstall the Kubuntu, but this demands a little comment.
When I install the Kubuntu on my notebook I used a great resource of
Linux based systems, maintain the files organized and separated, so I
put the / (root dir) in a partition and the home dir in other. Using
this organization when I need to reinstall the system I simply delete
all the hidden files and directories of the home partition, put the
Kubuntu cd on the drive, and reinstall it, piece of cake. So I did this
and now I'm running the Jaunty. That means you can considerate this post
as solved.
Thank you for you attention, and the efforts of the Kubuntu team,
be sure that you are doing a great job, and the 9.04 is the best Kubuntu
than ever.
Darknight
