Same here. I'm using a clean install of Ubuntu 9.04 on a Sony VAIO FZ250FE with a Centrino Duo processor. I tried compiling the latest version or ROTT for Linux from the icculus.org site, and it exhibits the same freezing behavior. It doesn't freeze the whole system, and can be forcefully killed.
