Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: vino

There appears to be a slight issue with enabling remote desktop that
effects the screensaver. If remote desktop is enabled so that users can
view/control my desktop then whilst vino is running listening for
connections then all screensavers are jerky and ripped. If however rdp
is disabled then the screen saver runs just fine, with no jerkyness!

Ubuntu 9.04

Vino;
  Installed: 2.26.1-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 2.26.1-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 2.26.1-0ubuntu1 0

Hope this is of some help.
