** Description changed:

I have to access some files on my Nokia 6230 via USB cable.
I have had no problem doing this before upgrading to Ubuntu 9.04.
The cable and physical connection points were checked to be good.
  Issuing 'lsusb' results this:

  wi...@wijit:~$ lsusb
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
  Bus 002 Device 062: ID 15d9:0a37
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub

According to the result set above:
The fourth line is a mouse.
There are 3 different things compared to previous versions, namely 7.10 and
8.10:
  1. there used to be more information for the mouse (no need to test by
unpluging).
  2. Nokia 6230 is not listed.
  3. 'Linux Foundation ...' lines have never been seen before (what are they?)
+
+ Note (24 hour after)
+ Apologise for my mistake.
+ Though the cable is good and works fine for other phone, the phone I intend
to use is not.
+ One of its contact points is dirty and after cleaning everything is OK.
+ This is new 'lsusb' result:
