Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: cups

I'm running Ubuntu 9.04 AMD64, and I had an issue changing printer
settings through the GUI when logged in as an unprivileged user (an ldap
user not in the admin group). When I open Server Settings and try to
click ok, I get an error saying "Failed to set settings" It's not
obvious why (to most), but I can get around this by clicking the
Advanced button in the GUI where I am prompted to authenticate as root.
After entering the password there, I can go back to the main settings
screen and click ok.

** Affects: cups (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
