Public bug reported: Would it be possible to compile the karmic kernel (2.6.30) with iwlagn debug support turned on?
http://intellinuxwireless.org/?n=fw_error_report There seems to be a lot of microcode SW errors in the driver which can't be debugged/fixed without this. Having the CONFIG_IWLWIFI_DEBUG turned in the stock/devel kernel of karmic would make tracking these issues possible. CONFIG_IWLWIFI_DEBUG=y only adds support for debugging, without additional module parameters it isn't any more verbose than what it is now. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: Would it be possible to compile the karmic kernel (2.6.30) with iwlagn debug support turned on? http://intellinuxwireless.org/?n=fw_error_report There seems to be a lot of microcode SW errors in the driver which can't be debugged/fixed without this.
