Yes - reproducible. Stupidly, I'd not thought to try outside terminal but yes it's happening in gedit too.
One new thing.. again every time.. copying within the terminal or within gedit the middle mouse doesn't paste. It's seems to be only from input the like of firefox, or email text that's doing this. That difference might be some polymorphic issue??.. that is, it seems copying plain text only is not pasting anything.
