Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: evolution-indicator
I know this isn't going to be easy to nail down but I thought I would
open it just in case others have had similar behavior.
I have made different folders under "On This computer" and I move
various Inbox msgs into the folders for archiving. Occasionally, I will
right click and delete one msg and all the msgs in the folder disappear
(they are not deleted because they don't show up in the trash or when
not hiding deleted.) If I go and delete the .index, .data, and .cmeta
files for that folder I can get all the msgs back and then if I do the
same procedure again; deleting only one file, there is no problem until
some random time in the future.
I have not experienced this and have been using Evolution since Ubuntu
8.04.
