I'm having the same problem using Logitech cordless keyboard mouse combo ex100 in xubuntu 9.04 in my PS3. The mouse wheel doesn't scroll but the third button works. I've tested with a corded logitech usb mouse connected to the ps3 in xubuntu and the scroll wheel works. Also tested the logitech ex100 in my xubuntu desktop and the scroll wheel works. The problem is occurs in the ps3 port.
