Binary package hint: debconf
Debconf has to be set to Gnome frontend (uses package libgnome2-perl) in
Ubuntu and to Kde frontend (uses package libqt-perl) in Kubuntu.
When I install or just run dpkg-reconfigure some-package in Ubuntu 9.04
GNOME desktop I get questions asked in terminal instead of user-friendly
graphical window. Problem is, that debconf frontend in Ubuntu 9.04 GNOME
desktop is set to Dialog instead of Gnome in Ubuntu and Kde (libqt-perl)
in Kubuntu :
