Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: libcanberra-gtk-module

When I try to open a svg file using EoG, I get a Gtk-Message: 'Failed to
load module "canberra-gtk-module": libcanberra-gtk-module.so: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory.' I _do_ have a
/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/modules/libcanberra-gtk-module.so file. I get the same
error when the GDM starts or when I try to change the theme.

If I open a folder that contains SVG files, or if I put an SVG on the
desktop, the thumbnail is rendered but when I try to open it, EoG says
that it could not recognize the file format.

Googling and guessing possible solutions, I made a softlink to
/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/modules/libcanberra-gtk-module.so from /usr/lib
/libcanberra-gtk-module.so. This silences the error but still doesn't
fix the problem (EoG and GDM are still unabe to render the file). Tried
using another file, making the link point to /usr/lib32/libcanberra-
gtk.so, and this time the error reappears.

I'm using Ubuntu Jaunty 64 bits, with libcanberra-gtk-module and
ia32-libs installed.
