I've compiled OpemMPI before, but the easiest temporary workaround here is to download the Intrepid packages as found in http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?suite=intrepid&searchon=names&keywords=openmpi , namely openmpi-bin, openmpi-common, libopenmpi1 and libopenmpi-dev, and install them with dpkg. Then 'pin' the packages in Synaptic to prevent their update.
Anyway it would be great if the patch that fixed the problem in 1.3.2 could be backported to 1.3.1 in Ubuntu. It's a one-liner; see http://www .open-mpi.org/community/lists/users/att-8571/changeset_r20856.diff . -- mpiexec tries to use ssh on localhost https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/365122 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
