Hi Tormod,

Looking at your original dmesg output I see the following which leads me
to believe the original bug is a dup of bug 287453:

[ 8931.638746] PM: resume devices took 5.284 seconds
[ 8931.638755] ------------[ cut here ]------------
[ 8931.638757] WARNING: at /build/buildd/linux-2.6.28/kernel/power/main.c:177
suspend_test_finish+0x80/0x90()

The dmesg output from the second scenario of running the 2.6.30 kernel
seems to be a different warning and should likely warrant a new bug
report:

[ 577.832197] PM: suspend devices took 1.384 seconds
[ 577.833412] ACPI: Preparing to enter system sleep state S3
[  577.920410] Disabling non-boot CPUs ...
[  577.921335] ------------[ cut here ]------------
[  577.921338] WARNING: at /home/kernel-ppa/mainline/build/kernel/smp.c:289
smp_call_function_single+0xb6/0x110()

For now I'll mark this a duplicate of bug 287453. Thanks.
