I tried the commands, but here's the output:
k...@jaguar:~$ sudo ifdown eth0
[sudo] password for kurt:
ifdown: interface eth0 not configured
k...@jaguar:~$ sudo ifup eth0
Ignoring unknown interface eth0=eth0.
k...@jaguar:~$

I didn't know if I needed to be "wired" for it to work. If so, what's 
the command to disable the wireless while I try it?
