Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gdm
Setting background color to black via gdmsetup
grep -R -i "000000" /etc/gdm/
/etc/gdm/gdm.conf:BackgroundColor=#000000
/etc/gdm/gdm.conf:GraphicalThemedColor=#000000
One would expect this to take effect after gmd has loaded and before the
wallpaper is loaded.
Still /etc/gdm/PreSession/default states
# Default value
if [ "x$BACKCOLOR" = "x" ]; then
BACKCOLOR="#76848F"
fi
If I manually change it to black (#000000) it works as wanted.
As for now it creates visual glitch.
Though this might be dublicate of bug #132833
figured it might be more useful to report this separately.
