Actually, whereas the -d switch shows nothing happening when you select the menu items, there lots of messages like:
log.c:89, silky_print_stderr(): libglade: could not find signal handler 'on_show_nick_change_window'. log.c:89, silky_print_stderr(): libglade: could not find signal handler 'on_show_server_connect_window'. log.c:89, silky_print_stderr(): libglade: could not find signal handler 'on_settings'. log.c:89, silky_print_stderr(): libglade: could not find signal handler 'on_ui_about'. log.c:89, silky_print_stderr(): libglade: could not find signal handler 'on_ui_quit'. log.c:89, silky_print_stderr(): libglade: could not find signal handler 'on_server_connect'. log.c:89, silky_print_stderr(): libglade: could not find signal handler 'on_settings_server_add'. log.c:89, silky_print_stderr(): libglade: could not find signal handler 'on_key_press'. Etc., etc. (these are not in order, btw). I suspect these 'signal handlers' are what actually do stuff when you select the menu items, so not being able to find them results in nothing happening. -- silky does not respond https://launchpad.net/bugs/77855 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
