** Description changed: This is for Intrepid Ibex. I have had this happen twice in the last two days. I can see the progress bar come up but a black screen comes up instead of the login screen. I wasn't able to kill X with ctrl-Backspace. However, it's not a hard hang. Caps-lock will turn the relevant light on and off.
