I used to have this problem on Intrepid when I first switched to linux in february. I somehow found a solution that worked and promptly forgot about it.
fast forward to now. I migrated to Jaunty and it still seemed to work. until an update a couple days ago which updated the bluetooth packages. Ever since that update I have the following symptoms again with both a dell travel bluetooth mouse and a logitech MX900.: connect the mouse leave it untouched for a small while (I think 5 minutes are enough) try to move the mouse again Expected: after a few seconds the cursor starts moving according to the mouse movements again Actual: nothing happens despite searching for a few hours, I have been unable to find the fix I used back then. I know I didn't write the device mac address in a config file, because that would have worked with the MX900 which I started using with this laptop about a month ago (but before upgrading to jaunty and it used to work fine too) please advise ... -- Bluetooth mouse connection in Jaunty drops when resuming from a low power state https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/342447 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
