I am having the same problem. Just one folder should be displayed but it also 
displays other pictures. In my case wallpaper-tray uses pictures from all over 
my filesystem. 
I erased one of these folders from the drive. Eversince it goes all black if it 
tries to run one of the pictures within this folder.
Already uninstalled (completeley) and reinstalled the App --> no change.
