New development - problem seems to get worse when the wireless network isn't acting properly.
Last time I tried to boot while my wireless router (Netgear WPNT834) was not responding to DHCP requests from other computers for whatever reason (I think it had hit its lease limit). I got so far as the screen saying: <c0153150> ? sys_nanosleep+0x60/0x70 <c0505020? ? do_page_fault+0x70/0x90 <c0503082> error_code+0x72/0x82 I would see variations on the last two lines every couple seconds and eventually it would give up and stop. When the router was working again I could get so far as the splash screen where it would freeze as usual and sometimes there the caps and scroll lock lights would flash. -- Ibex to Jaunty causes random instability https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/371311 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
