Thank you Pedro, I really appreciate you bug squashing work. I've continued to use Ubuntu despite casual difficulties with Exchange. I really can't say where is the problem, but I think this is hard to solve, since MS stuff is involved.
Ubuntu 9.04 made a radical change in that respect, since Evolution now supports MAPI directly - whereas now Evolution connects to Exchange via web interface. I would really love to do the switch, too bad I'm hearing that this MAPI support is still very limited and buggy, so being my production machine, for now I prefer something more stable. Nevertheless at home I've converted all my PCs to JJ and I think it is simply AWESOME. So I don't really know how to help here, I don't even know how to reproduce this issue...
