Same bug for me (Ubuntu 8.04 KpZ 0.8a3)
The Javascript console gives two error messages on entering in the selection
list:

Error: treeBoxObject.getPrimaryColumn is not a function
Source File: chrome://editor/content/EdSelectProps.js
Line: 720

and
Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "'[JavaScript Error:
"treeBoxObject.getPrimaryColumn is not a function" {file:
"chrome://editor/content/EdSelectProps.js" line: 720}]' when calling method:
[nsITreeView::selectionChanged]"  nsresult: "0x80570021
(NS_ERROR_XPC_JAVASCRIPT_ERROR_WITH_DETAILS)"  location: "JS frame ::
chrome://editor/content/EdSelectProps.xul :: onselect :: line 1"  data: yes]

The edition of a selection list problem already existed in 0.7.10 (inherited
from NVU). I always use the HTML insertion command for a form element edition.
But... with 0.7.10,
* no error message is given on entering the selection editor.
* when leaving the editor, I get the same error message two times

Erreur : treeSelection is not defined
Fichier source : chrome://editor/content/EdSelectProps.js
Ligne : 533

Hope this helps.
