I've had the same problem since nepomuk was first introduced in the experimental PPA packages (gutsy? hardy? I don't know.) It's NEVER worked. I was hoping with Jaunty - but no. KDE 4.2.3... but no. The "nepomuksearch" protocol in Dolphin returns empty folders, and nepomukservices takes up 100% of one of my CPU's. I've given it more than enough time (days) to index, in case you're wondering.
If nepomuk really DOES work in KDE trunk, does it work in Kubuntu at all? Is there something I can do to fix it on my computer? I've been longing for Strigi search for about 2 years now, lol. -- nepomukservices take about 90% of cpu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/318065 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdebase-runtime in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
