I have just changed the four jumpers on my Asus P4C800-E motherboard as noted here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/75497/comments/25 .
Many thanks for the advice, my machine running Jaunty with current default kernel 2.6.28-12-generic finally finished the hibernation. No immediate power up as before (even on the 2.6.28-12-generic). I'm using uswsup's s2disk, the hibernation and resume process itself was working ok before too, but the machine always refused to stop and powered immediately up after S4, I had to manually switch it off before. Now finally ok. -- Asus P4P800 motherboard doesn't suspend https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/75497 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
