Public bug reported:
Booted from the Kubuntu Feisty Herd 2 Alternate Install CD, and chose
Install in text mode. After localisation and keymap, the installer looks
for the CD. It runs the Detecting Hardware progressbar and the just
hangs. It gives no errors, and does nothing after it, just shows the
blue background. Same happened with two different systems under
VirtualBox and one system when no virtualisation was in use.
