Binary package hint: powerdevil
I'm using ubuntu jaunty 64 bit on a dell d830.
Powerdevil is configured that, on battery, it will standby the laptop when
laptop lid is closed. This is a nice feature.
But when I shutdown my laptop on battery en close the laptop lid, ubuntu
is also going to standby. This is not what most people want. I believe
there should be a way to make shutdown overrule standby.
