Public bug reported:

I have got a laptop Prestigio 157. Hibernation works great and suspend-to-ram
is working as well, but with one flaw. Upon waking up, wireless no longer
works. It can be turned on manually (by pushing the sidebar button), though.
/var/log/syslog says this:
Jul 17 23:59:49 localhost kernel: [17180125.980000] ipw2200: Radio Frequency
Kill Switch is On:
Jul 17 23:59:49 localhost kernel: [17180125.980000] Kill switch must be turned
off for wireless networking to work.
I tried adding ipw2200 to modules in /etc/default/acpi-support as suggested
here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SuspendHowto
I will be happy to provide you with any additional info needed.

** Affects: Ubuntu
