Public bug reported:
After using the install to disk icon from a 6.10 live-cd (on a new
windows-xp computer) i decided to cancel the process. After a reboot the
windows ntfs partition had changed into the size i selected during the
install menu's. Windows ran the chkdskroutine, and found all ok. It
appears to me the installation routine makes changes *before* the last
summary screen and final OK-button click
