** Description changed: Ubuntu 6.10 For every version of Ubuntu since 5.04, sound on my Toshiba Satellite SA-50 has been intermittent -- by which I mean it works for a few weeks, then stops working for several months, then starts working for another few weeks, and so on. I've been upgrading regularly.
