Binary package hint: usplash
While starting up the computer or shutting down there is no splash
screen. The paramaters in the usplash.conf file is correct (I think) so
what is wrong. If it helps when I shutdown I hear a beep before the
desktop is gone then shutsdown normally except for no splash screen. Im
new to Ubuntu and Linux
