Same problems as the others with a Kodak C533 plugged into USB, right down to the screen shots and dmesg already mentioned. Additionally, the internal flash memory card reader would not work properly. The drives in the reader do not show up in Computer. I could temporarily get them to appear by plugging and unplugging the internal USB header, or switch to another header, and the card reader would work properly once the drives appeared, but the next time I rebooted, the drives would disappear and not show up on their own. I believe the 'camera not locked' and the disappearing usb card reader drives are related to some USB issues that are not yet resolved in 9.04. Everything worked OK in 8.10. Right now in 9.04 I can't get pictures from the camera at all since connecting the camera via USB cable or using a memory card reader via internal USB header simply will not work.
