Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

It is impossible to select the paper size for printing in all of the
OpenOffice applications - the paper format seems to follow the user
interface language. The printer administration app allows me to select
A4, but ignores my choice. My selection is not saved at all.

I have noticed that no matter what paper format I choose, printing will always
fall back to the default for the interface language.
US English only prints in letter format, and if I change to UK English A4 is
the default.
This must be considered a bug.
The default formats must be user selectable, and the defaults should follow
locale settings or default document language.

I'm a Norwegian user, but I prefer English user interface because of earlier
release of new versions and so and so translations.
3.1 64-bit .deb is only available in US English by now, so I'm left with the
choice of using the latest and greatest, or beeing able to print. We use A4,
and so does a lot (if not most?) of the countries outside the US.

** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
