Public bug reported:
Hi
I created an USB key of the karmic A1 alternate CD for lpia; it starts
fine but when I reach the point where the installer looks for the
install media on a CDROM, it fails to find the USB key.
Debugging a little, I saw that mountmedia was failing and list-devices
partition or usb-partition wasn't listing anything because /sys/block
didn't have my USB key.
This is with kernel 2.6.30-5-lpia; no idea which module is responsible
of my USB key but sg usb_storage scsi_mod ahcu_hcd uhci_hcd znf usbcore
are loaded.
Bye
