Teej: I'm running a very basic installation since I'm a newbie on this. 
Yesterday the machine was reported as "up-to-date" using the update manager, 
and today it still is. I don't know how to force the upgrade from kernel 28-6 
to 28-12, but if you give some orientation I can try.
