Hi Scott I have confirmed that the source of the bug is the Intel ProShare Wireless 2100 mini pci card (driver?) in the Dell D400. I have worked around by switching it off in the bios, and using an external PCMCIA WiFi card (Cisco). So a fix is not urgent for me, but others may encounter sim probs
