scuse me, chris. i don't mean to be rude. i've also not had the problem arise again for a couple of days. i've hesitated to implement the package because this being the only machine on which i can earn a living, i'm reluctant to risk a spanner in its works. and having just made the transition from user to bug reporter i think its too soon just yet to beta testing anything but urgent fixes.
