This is tied to a much larger issue that I wish wasn't brushed over by
so many when i inquire about it. Just as the original stated, on my
System (Ubuntu 9.04 64 bit) the following sounds do not play, even if
you customize them:
-Window maximized
-Window unmaximized
-Window minimized
-New e-mail
-Empty Trash
-Long action
-Battery warning
Whats more, NO SOUND EVENTS PLAY except "Login". Even the sounds that I
customize which do play when I click on the play icon within System -->
Preferences --> Sound will not play during their assigned event.
So again, a number of sounds don't play within System --> Preferences
--> Sound, and customized sounds won't play when the correct event is
triggered ("New e-mail", "Logout", "Empty trash", etc.).
