no. you can not reproduce it. sometimes it woks, but most of cases it
don't. i can refresh networks in wicd and no wlan can be found. normally
when i boot, network connects to wired network because no wlan can be
found. even on reboots its about a percentage of less than 10 that my
wifi can connect to my wlan. it seems that my laptop lost a lot of
signal strength to connect to my wlan. i didnt have had these problems
since ubuntu 7.10 and they came up with upgrade from 8.10 to 9.04 with
new kernel. it even didnt work with ndiswrapper and wifi-driver from
windows. i have had the same problems. but i get connection to my wlan
when taking my laptop and placing it in about 3m distance of my wlan-
router. well, it seems as it lost a lot of connectivity-strength, like
when cutting the antenna (what i did not).
