Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: powernowd

Everytime I load the CPU Frequency Applet, I got an error message saying
CPU Frequency Scaling is not Supported. But manually I can make it work
if I load p4-clockmod module.

---- This is my input ----
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo modprobe p4-clockmod
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo powernowd

I can also load cpufreq_conservative, cpufreq_ondemand,
cpufreq_powersave, cpufreq_stats, cpufreq_userspace and speedstep-lib
without any problems.

However, I can't load the following modules, speedstep-smi, speedstep-
ich, acpi-cpufreq.

Maybe the powernowd is loading the wrong module for my processor.
